We are a small and friendly surgery with 3 GP's. In addition to the doctors, we have an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, who can help with minor ailments and prescribe and refer as appropriate.
Nursing team
We also have a nursing team which is made up of a practice nurse and a health care assistant. They are here to deal with a whole range of appointments including annual reviews of long-term health conditions, diagnostic procedures, and contraceptive care, we also have a second practice nurse who runs a baby immunisation clinic on a Monday morning.
General Medical Services (GMS) contract
The practice team deliver a full range of clinical services under our General Medical Services (GMS) contract with NHS England.
Pharmacy Team
We have a pharmacy team made up of 2 pharmacists. Clinical pharmacists in GP surgeries will resolve day-to-day medicine issues and consult with and treat patients directly. This includes providing help to manage long-term conditions, advising those taking multiple medicines (polypharmacy) and delivering clinical advice about treatments.
